In the old castle of a country town, a lady steps out of a painting at full moon to grant people their wishes, causing headaches for the authorities, committed as they are to a purely material, non-spiritual viewpoint. Although I didn't laugh, I enjoyed this funny movie that probably does a good job of capturing something of the bureaucracy behind the iron curtain in the mid 1960s.
