A middle-aged man in search of warmth and comfort decides to marry one of three sisters who live together in a spacious house. I can't say that this movie made me laugh, but the slow and deliberate pace at which the main character puts his plan to action—contrasting with the reckless speed of a younger competitor—was strangely satisfying.
