Out of work due to funding cuts and needing to make ends meet, a group of brilliant university professors start marketing a new drug of their invention. Oftentimes modern Italian comedies have an inconsistent "voice", dipping into other genres in midstream. Not the case here, and this was the most solid Italian comedy I've seen in a while. In some ways this may be because the production follows an "American formula", much like contemporary German comedies such as the
Fack ju Göhte franchise. I laughed a few times and we smiled a lot.
