A man who responded to a personal ad travels to the countryside to meet the woman, with whom he has corresponded. The only thing they have in common is their loneliness. This is a good, light-hearted, often funny movie, but certainly not a comedy in the meaning embraced by this site. A worthwhile watch, but not in order to laugh.
