A woman from a well-heeled family is set to marry a man who, apart from his popular background, is not physically attractive according to the contemporary canons of beauty.
I was delighted to watch a comedy film from Colombia for the first time — a fact perhaps impulsed by the emphasis placed by the president at the time (Iván Duque) on the creative side of the economy. The accents are varied and terrific.
In some ways, the movie reminded me of a certain genre of French comedies from the 1960s. If you're a fan of Louis de Funès, you will probably enjoy this.
