This is an early feature by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, a talented director. It's definitely not a laugh-out-loud comedy, but sweet and worth watching for those who follow Spanish series and films, as it features many faces you'll have seen elsewhere.
The movie consists of eight vignettes that purport to represent different phases in a romantic relationship, each with a distinct cast except for the last. It's not a bad concept but unequal in its execution, with a mixture of weak and strong pieces.
That said, I'm glad to have watched it.

Four-and-a-half stars. Iranian movie. A prisoner who escapes by taking the clothes of a Mullah (a Muslim cleric) must keep up the pretense in a mosque of the border village where he hopes to procure a forged passport. A touching, humane movie that has its share of chuckles.

Two stars. Two potheads try to escape a murderous dealer. One of the thousand movies since
Pulp Fiction that derive much of their "humor" from showing people shooting people as though that were as casual an activity as brushing one's teeth.

Four couples spend a week in an exotic resort for couple therapy. It felt like watching a lot of therapy, which is uncommon in the movies. A good film from that standpoint, just not a particularly funny one.

To get out of financial strife, an encyclopedia salesman and his wife agree to make adult movies. This Spanish film is culturally interesting, and it's a good watch, but I don't think it's designed to be a roarer. In fact, I don't think I've seen a single Spanish movie that was designed to be a roarer. To me, Spanish directors seem more interested in presenting a farcical view of their society than in making people laugh outright. They establish a flirtatious mood that make you smile or smirk, but rarely laugh.

who was involved?
Eight weeks after a one-night stand with a dude who, without the alcohol, wouldn't be far from her nightmare date, a TV presenter finds herself pregnant. A cute story overall, a few laughs, but also way too much frat-house humor for my taste. It also felt like the movie lasted four hours. Would not watch again.
