To get out of financial strife, an encyclopedia salesman and his wife agree to make adult movies. This Spanish film is culturally interesting, and it's a good watch, but I don't think it's designed to be a roarer. In fact, I don't think I've seen a single Spanish movie that was designed to be a roarer. To me, Spanish directors seem more interested in presenting a farcical view of their society than in making people laugh outright. They establish a flirtatious mood that make you smile or smirk, but rarely laugh. (Last viewed: May 2012)

¡Hola Dragan! Thank you for writing. By coincidence, Toc Toc is on my "to watch" list for the next couple of weeks. Glad you are confirming that it is worth a watch. If you have other ideas, please don't hesitate! For Spanish-language comedies of course it doesn't have to be Spain — I've been exploring Argentinian comedies and am curious about the vast production of Mexico. Deseándote un buenísimo día, -A
